Neighborhood Parks / Play Lots
Our Departments & Services / Parks & Recreation / Neighborhood Parks / Play Lots

The Township has three neighborhood parks / play lots. These parks usually serve a small “local” area or neighborhood.  Dogs and other household pets are not allowed in these parks.

Station House Park

The smallest park in the Township's system is located at the Township Hall and Herbison Road Fire Station property at 1401 W. Herbison Road. The play lot includes a play structure, swings, and a picnic table. The play structure complies with the accessibility guidelines of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). The park also provides barrier free parking and sidewalk access.

Valley-Turner Park

This 3.4-acre park is located at the intersection of Valley Road and Turner Road. The site is rich with mature maple and oak trees, providing a beautiful, natural canopy to enjoy a picnic lunch or read a book. The park includes swings, climbers, tunnels, and picnic tables for the family to enjoy.

Coleman Road Park

This 1.3-acre park is located on Coleman Road, just east of BR-27. Granger Waste Management Company donated the park to the Township. The facility includes benches to relax on, a new basketball court, a play structure and swings.
