DeWitt Charter Township's Community Development Department (CDD) works to create, diversify and enhance job growth and to promote business development and stability. CDD supports businesses and the development community within township government and between regional agencies. It also partners with other organizations to further economic development.
About the Department
In 2009, CDD was created to promote and facilitate business development, to create and implement economic development strategy, and to strengthen ties with the private sector.
CDD is evolving to become a policy-oriented, fast-moving department within the Township. We work with the private sector, within township government and in partnership with other agencies, state legislators and business groups. We take a networking, problem-solving approach. We pride ourselves in being responsive to your needs.
Staff competencies include finance, recruitment, and small business development.
